Changshu Starsea Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1984, and specializes in producing drugs for external use. Our company has acquired the Drugs Manufacturing Permit and Business License, and registered the literature "Haixing" in relevant registration authority. Our major products are the analgesic tincture, solution (for external use), lotions, cream, liniment, gel, and so forth. Up to now, we have gained the drug manufacturing permits for 18 products. Our products can be found everywhere in mainland China except Taiwan area and Tibet, and some drugs has been exported to Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau since 1998. Among them, analgesic tincture takes up 60% of the domestic market.

The total net capital of the company is over 2.5 million US dollars. In addition to the medicines, we also produce skin-care cosmetics, shampoos, and disinfectants. The sales volume has increased by 30 million annually. Our company has more than 120 employees, including professors of pharmacy, pharmacists, senior economists, economists, senior engineers, engineers, and assistant engineers. The technicians and engineers take up 30% of all the people working in our company. We have maintained long-term cooperative relationships with many medicine colleges and institutes.

Our company is located on the conjunction of Yanjiang Expressway and Sujiahang (Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou) State Way, and the transportation is very convenient. It only takes half an hour to reach Suzhou City. Our company covers 40,000 square meters, and the floor space is over 3,800 square meters with grade 100000 purification level. In our factory, there are totally 5 newly developed production flows as follows:
1) One production flow is for the analgesic tincture, comprising the processes of extraction, mixing, filling, and lidding and the daily output of single shift is 20,000 pieces
2) One for enema glycerine, comprising the processes of mixing, filling, and seal and the daily output of single shift is 40,000 bottles
3) One for tincture of iodine, comprising the processes of mixing and auto-filling and the daily output of single shift is 30,000
4) One for miconazole nitrate cream, comprising the processes of mixing and filling and the daily output of single shift is 20,000
5) The last product flow is for iodine-based disinfectants. In addition, there is an independent workshop designed to produce cosmetics

We gained the GMP certification in November 2003. In addition to the development and production of our own products, we also welcome the commissions to process the same sort of products for pharmaceutical manufactures both at home and abroad.
